There is a good tezt for stomach acid called the Heidelberg test. I have had this done and was surprised Ihad normal acid levels. You swallow a pill that constantly measures your pH. You are thengiven a baking soda solution and you will see your pH become very alkaline. What should happen next is your stomach should reacidify. It's not a cheap test but it seems pretty definitive b/c tehy directly measure your pH. Tweet
