Re: Demodex Mites/Acne Rosacea

To ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: I have had my 1st derm. appt. The young female Dr. is very encouraging about my theory and states that her colleague will be included in the info. I provide. It is a university teaching hospital, so I am hoping to benefit many others with this horrible condition ! My sauna has not yet arrived, but I have begun an early regimen with FULL-STRENGTH tea tree oil applied all over my face throughout the day and night. This is not for the "faint of heart" because it is like putting vinegar on a wound. But, it subsides after a relatively short time. I have already killed many of the mites and my skin is looking incredibly beautiful, almost flawless ! In fact, my skin has not been this clear except when I was a child ! However, I believe that I have only managed to kill the adults and so must continue DAILY until all the offspring hatch. I am already convinced by the look and feel of my face that it is the demodex mites that have been causing my rosacea and edema of the face. The night time itching is almost completely gone. The red flushing is almost gone. I will keep you posted. As for killing all the mites at once; here's the beauty of the infrared sauna: It will push out all the "debris" at once, which is why I am going to stay in for a LONG time the very 1st treatment ! Of course, I will thoroughly bathe afterward and use tea tree oil. Tweet
