I read this thread hoping to find others who have used this product to justify spending that much as well.:) Not having found that, I will share what has been shared with me. This is a link that will teach you how to "ferment" Mutaflor- http://www.drmyhill.co.uk/wiki/Growing_Mutaflor.
Having stated that link, my husband pointed out that this product has protective coating 2x to protect it from opening too early. If you ferment it, it is not protected and may not make it exactly where we need it. All I know about this product is that it is benificial E. Coli. I do not know why they need it to open late as of now but plan to do more research.
