Arabinogalactan is also known as Larch, and is promoted in some places as a prEbiotic (not a probiotic, just want to make that clear) - prEbiotic in that it can be eaten by certain good bacteria in the gut. Unfortunately, people with imbalance in their gut may have some kinds of bad bacteria or yeast that may also be able to eat the arabinogalactin.
Just wanted to clarify that for newbie readers who might otherwise get a bit lost in this.
Arabinogalactin did not help me have more regular BMs, as it is purported to do - and I believe the reason it failed me is either that I do not have enought of the proper good bacteria for the Arabinogalactin to feed, or perhaps that it fed some kind of bad bacteria or yeast in me.
