(The word ‘kill’, Luke 18:20-above, from my (continual-dayByday moving forward- ‘two steps forward one back’ ;-) maturing in The Word is the Greek word:

trust2009, I’ll add my IMO comments & Scriptures, as to your post, discussion about: ‘kill’ and further into your post and mine the subject of ‘marriage’. (check-know your local laws and get sound personal legal council in all matters of concern-protection for being right in your actions under public laws)

There is a SOLEMN personal-deed todo difference between the ‘Volume’ of the two words: ‘kill’ and ‘murder’! Murder is ~never~ a justifiable homicide-always criminal homicide…

‘kill’ ~*M A Y B E*~ a justifiable-reasonable legal homicide… justifiable-underneath a serious-legal- harmful- defense- action needed against an unlawful potential serious body hurt encounter from another, others (again… by legal actions ..i.e. police; military; self-protection; a hennas criminal courtroom-guilty death verdict and the one/s doing, caring out the court’s verdict of execution; or ::sometimes stuff happens:: an accidental death-‘manslaughter homicide’ with no serious criminal culpability by a person and certainly NOT labeled ‘murder’).

IMO the ‘thumbprint’ of justifiable killing of hennas criminal attacks-attackers are sensible for not only, merely.. this short flesh life but into the past and future courtroom of God. God has promised eternal peace, goodwill to all neighbors, no felony murder criminal crimes, no bribing the judge, no bribing the lawmaker/s.. in & under God’s KINGDOM, a KING and HIS dominion. What got this war started God would NOT let the criminals, greedy ones do crimes..so there has been a rebellion with satan as their king and (only for God’s hope of a redemption plan/s) continues to be a rebellion-war within God’s Time Plans of a change of greed by a repentant heart..hopefully said/planned.

IMO, as to marriage,… acceptable …under God’s wedding …’wasto’ (Ruth 3:9) ‘cover with the skirt’(in this case as ‘kinsman redeemer’), it was a sexua| contract/agreement/the couple’s private wedding-consummation (prior worked out & all tied together) between the (us-hairyLeggedOldBoys) groom, man.. and (gorgeous - enchanting - very precious – honest & diligent:-) bride, women. ~~However, ‘cover with the skirt’ as the only record… may not give public protection ..under our law, USA. In the USA.. a marriage ‘license’ is a public record for protection (just like a recorded deed on your house-land/s, or many other public filings/recordings / titling - title-as in auto-by state filing. To protect you in ‘the courthouse’ of public records/recordings’ departments at the courthouse… for all to see, in a public records’search. Then..if petitioning the court for protection of action/s by another, others if you have a ‘license’ or public recording you can offer for evidence the marriage license to (for a few examples): the court/ a judge / for spousal insurance, medical insurance / for spousal retirement payments / for spousal retirement under social security / for spousal social security for a dependent child-children if one dies… and the many overall protections given under such public recordings.
