Re: A network chiropractic technique
Network is such a crock. It started people worrying that Chiropractric is dangerous and it isn't. If you watch people who were adjusted by BJ Palmer and the old time Chiro's who got incredible results, they knocked the crap out of people and nobody was screaming about strokes.
Now-a-days with so many drugs that cause stroke and many of them given to young woman for reproductive reasons that do not have to be disclosed even to a doctor or on health histories you hear of a very rare case of a young woman going to a chiropractor and much later dying of a stroke and even with these figures chiropractic is the least likely cause of stroke of anything that could be concieved of causing a stroke
So along comes this guy who takes from his mentors, who asked him not to charge for teaching the chiropractic knowledge taught to him by them, and he puts it together with soft tissue techniques by Upledger, who is severely missinterpreted in network, and other Osteopaths and Physical Therapist who weren't getting the results Chiropractors were getting, using nothing slightly original and he starts charging Chiropractors and Chiropractic students rediculous prices for his seminars, then starts letting other ouside Chiropractic take the seminars to make more money for a technique they can't legally or morally use because they never recieved the proper education.
How he sold this was NLP and other sales techniques the emotionally challenged and uninformed became subject to a placebo effect induced by a "technique", and the term is used loosely, that is destroying the credibility of all of Chiropractic and calling his technique the future of chiropractic through the word of mouth of his cult followers because any Chiropractor using a legitimate technique would be questioned because of the amount of force used that in the past and now still gets great results and helps millions upon millions of people.
I found this network to be highly uneffective and leaves deep restrictions uncorrected and masked temporarily by ease of more superficial tissue in many many many cases.
Although soft techniques are good a nessessary in many cases they do not help give the body a frequency needed to make sufficient corrections that last
I know the cult will violently disagree because of the placebo and brain washing that go into this, or people afraid of being touched and have fear and low level of tolerance because they want to believe
but although soft techniques have there place and can help people, they are not the future of Chiropractic
