It's not a selling technique, it's my own personal opinion. I personally feel more comfortable taking medications that were manufactured and marketed with me in mind (a human). While the production standards between animal and human medications might be the same on paper, I question if they are indeed the same in practice. Again, that's just my personal opinion.
And as i've said before, if people really want to take pet meds then by all means go for it! Again I believe people have the right to make their own decision when it comes to their health. I'm simply giving people a choice. I don't think people should be forced into doing something they are uncomfortable with or hesitant about. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking pet medications and that's just me. There's really nothing more to it than that.
