yep, you put the KI in the bottle first. then add watter a little at a time until no more dissolves. that is a saturated solution. put 100gm of KI in a 100ml bottle. add water and shake. add water up to the 100ml mark. then you have SSKI - 1 gram per ml of solution. its that easy. someone advised on this earlier and pointed out that its a SATURATED solution of KI. you can take distilled water and keep adding KI to it until it no longer dissolves. that will give you SSKI as well. start with the bottle only a quarter full so you can shake it and so you dont overflow it. there is more KI in SSKI than water! use brown glass to protect from UV light.
