Figure to lose about 5 to 10
pounds sometimes more of water weight and food in digestive tract/colon. This weight comes back pretty much right after fast. As soon as you start taking in salt and carbs both hold water.
I went from 260 to lowest saw 217 but then week or so later on refeed was up to 227 and lately been holding around 222/223/224 range.
I am doing aerobics 5x day on treadmill or bike. Did them pre fast, during and post but mostly slow speeds on the
Water Fast you just don't have the energy on water. I did water 31 days, juice 3, water 2 and juice final 4 then refeed. 40 days total. On refeed dont' eat breakfast and do EAT STOP EAT twice weekly for 24 hours,its form of intermittent fasting. Still with all that the weight is not really going down too good although am getting stronger in the weights pretty quickly fact think over my prefast poundages already or will be very shortly.
Anyway on 28 days water expect to lose maybe 40 but as said 10 will likely come right back and if you don't add in execise and change your diet permanently you could gain it all back in six months or maybe even sooner.
you can't really lose pound a day not possible to keep doing that unless you had burn rate of like 3500 day and you take in zero calories.That would be pound a day. But remember as you lose weight your burn rate also goes down just from being lighter and some say drops from metabolic slowdown but how much that effect is is open to some debate.
I starting to get very faint feelings at around day 25 or so and was worried would pass out in stores, etc.
I don't have to work.
Hard work on water don't think possible. On juice no problem.
Also how much water weight and food in digestive/tract colon varies some from person to person. Some people hold lots of water and food in them. Some not as much.
Juice fasting since of course you are taking in calories can be much slower than
Water Fasting but it is much much more pleasant .Wife went 28 days her first fast..on juice.
I am thinking to do couple more water/juice fasts like 3 juice/14 water/3 juice to get myself down to goal weight and not sure if that will be 180 or 160 see how it goes.I don't like BMI tables they are junk for anyone with muscle and trust bodyfat and muscle mass alot more. Currently am like 32% and think was around 47% pre fast. So doing pretty good. And really didn't lose much muscle you don't fasting if you have fat to burn. Read you lose maybe 1 in month and then much less after that. Course if you don't have fat to spare then your body will have to eat up muscle and then vital stuff. That is starvation more than fasting.
Read my old posts ,have lots on my 40 day and my refeed,updates,tips ,etc. Update today like about month or so post fast is that weight was 224. Prefast was 260. And this current weight relects water weight and do eat quite a bit of salty stuff and fair bit of carbs.
I was hoping to lose 2 to 4
pounds week maybe from diet,intermittent fasting and my exercises. Give it a couple more weeks and see if that is the case otherwise wife mentioned she might want to do another fast and I might do another one as well.
But not into 30 or 40 anymore except juice only. Water is not fun!
14 on water would be about right with few juice transition days pre and post. Figure could lose maybe 25 but again 5 to 10 likely water so 15
pounds or so each time. Do that twice and 30 would be gone. Then try to maintain with my exercise and diet and intermittent fasting.
