Did two tsunami waves cause a vortex? EDITED

Japan got hit four ways......the earthquake, tsunami, the oil refinery explosion, and radiation. Now, it seems that a whirlpool/vortex has also formed (will there be a meltdown also?).

Most reports speak of only one tsunami, but the confusion about there being more than one is probably because the tsunami breaks into many WAVES when it hits an island,....the waves wrap around islands and bounce around?.

...or did the quake cause a crack in the ocean floor?.
