Re: Metametrix urine/stool and hair test results
I have a theory that unidentified taxonomy coupled with high d-arabintol is small intestinal overgrowth and possibly dead yeast genetic material being picked up. I have 3+ and also a high d-arabinitol. D-arabinitol is the byproduct of yeast and it is being absorbed from your small intestines and excreted into the urine. High amounts suggest yeast. ANd the genetic presence of yeast or fungus does so as well.
I took nystatin for roughly a month at 500,000 IU 3times/day along with other natural antifungals like garlic and NOW Foods candida clear. had very bad die off but the 3+ is now 0. Doesnt mean that i have 0 yeast but it means they couldnt find any so no exact answer there. My D-arabintiol is 9, which is normal but the presence of it still makes me wonder if i have residual yeast. I am going to do a retest soon.
In my case, my yeast burden went down and i improved but not fully which makes me continue to wonder if it is completely yeast, or if lessening the yeast allowed my body to be less burdened in toxic load. I am looking into
parasites next after the retest and finally will be starting chelation properly with slow IV DMPS if all else fails. Or if my challenge test shows soething is up.
