I'm confused too - I bet we can get unconfused :) Re: :::sigh::: no can do, just the Cape Aloe...Re: Just Cape Aloe instead of IF#1?
Please allow me to clarify; there seems to be some type of miscommunication, and I'm really sorry if anything I've shared has caused you frustration (or any type of confusion or negative emotions)...
--I thought you asked me if you could just take Cape Aloe capsules instead of the IF#1. I meant to express that 'Cape Aloe' alone does not contain the healing synergy and benefits of IF#1. (And I forgot to add that it can be very harsh).
--You mentioned leaving out garlic & ginger when mixing the IF#1; I explained why I don't think that's a good idea.
--When I said this:
>>>Remember, you can start the IF#2 anytime you're sure you can induce 2-3 bms daily....there's far less of an 'edge' to the IF#1. <<<
I meant to imply "inducing 2-3 bms daily with the IF#1". I apologize if I was vague or confusing.
--Juice fasting? I've clearly understood that you can't juice-fast right now; but I know you've got a juicer and are starting to juice. 'Progress is a process'...and I think that's fantastic progress! I've never told anyone (that I recall) that they "have" to juice-fast.
>>> Just
juicing too much (with food) gives me low blood sugar. I once tried to eat all raw for a day (with no protein) before I was sick and my blood
Sugar was so low that I could hear an echo when I spoke. The floor was racing beneath me. My blood
Sugar was 32. <<<
I remember reading that somewhere in the past. Beth I would NEVER-ever recommend that you "jump into juice fasting" when you're this reactive. However, I would point out (because this is a 'teaching forum' and others will be reading this, NOT because I'm trying to convince you of anything)...that 'eating raw for a day' without any protein is far-cry from ingesting a gallon of balanced juice along with high-protein Superfood & Bee Pollen. And it seems to me like you must have been 'sick' somehow, if one day of 'no protein' and raw foods caused such a horrendous crash in blood sugar.
New questions:
>>>So, if I can induce 3-4 bowel movements in a day with cape aloe and then add the IF#2, and then once I'm coated up with the "goodness" switch over to the IF#1 from just the cape aloe, would that not work?<<<
I don't understand why you would choose to use something as harsh as straight Cape Aloe capsules and not use the synergistically balanced IF#1 (that was designed to go with the IF#2); nor why you wouldn't want at least to try the IF#1 before deciding to make alterations in a cleanse that is so successful 'as it is'. BUT ***of course*** 'making sense to me' is NOT some kind of 'test you need to pass' to make decisions about your own body! lol...far from it.
I have no idea how one would go about weaning off of Cape Aloe and onto IF#1 while using IF#2 (or what to expect if you took them together), so I wouldn't be much help if you 'got into problems' or got clogged up. (And I'm not saying that because I'm grumpy or pissy, I really wouldn't know what to advise you to do).
If you're going start with something other than IF#1 to achieve your 2-3 bms daily (before starting the IF#2), I would choose the triphala that you're used to. It's much less likely to cause 'explosive diarrhea' and you're already familiar with it's action. You could likely add one IF#1 capsule nightly and "gauge what you need to do" by what you experience the next day, far better with the triphala than with the aloe (or at least, that what I discern from what you're reported).
>>>So, can I take the IF#2 with food through out the day or should I take it some other way?<<<
Of course, you can use IF#2 when 'eating food'. That's what most everybody does...unless they're juice-fasting. 5 doses of IF#2 equally spaced throughout the day - try to time it 'away from meals', but it's not going 'ruin anything' if a few doses end up being taken right before/after eating.
What I've learned and teach/advise others is FAR from "just
Dr. Schulze ". Gerson's diet was around 80-90
ounces of juice plus solid foods & soup, with oatmeal for breakfast (and an occasional piece of sourdough bread and/or yogurt) daily. Dr. Christopher's Mucusless diet was even more lenient than that (as he allowed occasional meat & eggs).
However, Dr. Christopher's IP diet was much more stringent than either of the others (alternating between a week of carrot juice/carrots; a week of grapes/grape juice, and a week of apples/apple juice). He based that on Johanna Brandt's 'grape cure', which was nothing but grapes & grape juice for months on end.
All in all, these 'eating programs' have a lot of options and variables, and I don't want anyone to think I'm going to "dictate" which option they should choose or utilize. I'm here to explain & advise (and give recommendations for specifics) that aren't easily found or understood by those that aren't herbalists and haven't studied these healers and deeply as I have. I am not (and do not want to be), the "Healing Sheriff of CureZone"! lol :)
Healthiest of blessings -
