Oh, woops. My fault.



Cortisol signals glucose all the time...they rise in fall in tandem, all the time. Cortisol pumps out for you to run from the lion and the glucose provides the energy for your feet to move.

Your body still has its energy needs on a cellular level for daily life, so no glucose to use means it's eating up protein, fat and collagen (wrinkles, bad gums, etc.)

The bodily energy demand for daily life is impossible to meet without adequate cortisol levels to elevate blood Sugar levels by facilitating the conversion of glycogen, fats, and proteins to new glucose supplies.

The energy demand is met by good fats, proteins and complex carbs in the right ratios and in small, frequent meals to combat the hypoglycemia.
