If your water kefir is 'tangy & fizzy', it's KEFIR!

At this point, if you want to do a second fermentation to 'add flavor', then take out the grains and add whatever fruit, juice, ginger root, etc., you would like...put the lid back on and let it ferment another 2 days (more or less).

You don't *have* to rinse the grains, you can take them right from one batch and put 'em into another batch...or if you want to rinse them, put them in spring water (not distilled or RO, and NOT TAP WATER) for 12-24 hours. I think most folks recommend against rinsing/soaking them, unless they start smelling or acting funky.

The one thing I didn't see on your plan? Making sure you're having 2-3 bms daily. You've GOT to get "downward flow" going strong for your body/stomach to heal itself...no matter what herbs you use.

IF#1...and if you can't tolerate that, then prune juice'll work.

Btw, have you ever tried opening up a capsule of IF#1 and just taking the powder, rather than taking the capsule? That works like a charm for some people.
