Re: Will liver cleanse help with Digestive problems?

Recently because of new research on gluten sensitivity, Drs are testing or retesting people with IBS for autoimmune Celiac Disease as many have been misdiagnosed. It is a good idea, in my opinion, to rule this out because at present there is no cure except to follow a strict gluten (wheat, barley, rye) free diet. There are some good information pages at Celiac.com about symptoms and diagnosis and more at The Gluten Syndrome. The reactions to gluten are so delayed that people do not realize that it is causing their problems.

I used Hulda Clark 's programs and found them very helpful but until I went gluten free the digestive and other problems kept coming back. It was difficult for me to do Liver Flushes and did not tolerate the Epsom Salts very well. As with many people it took years for a Dr to connect the symptoms with gluten sensitivity.

You might want to look at the Specific Carbohydrate Diet which I have been using for several years. It was designed for people with IBS and many people who are gluten sensitive find it helpful. The book 'Breaking the Vicious Cycle' has a good explaination of why the diet works. It has more detailed information on what Telman wrote in his message about the mixture of microbes in the intestine being important.
