Am I confused on amount?

Thanks for correcting me. But perhaps I am still confused. If I understand you correctly it is 1 cup of the slippery elm & aloe gruel taken three times a day. Water suggested in a reply post that I might have misunderstood your instructions and that I should be doing 1 tablespoon 3 x day of the slippery elm. Can you please confirm the amounts? I think I am doing more than ordinary because of the surgery. I would guess if it is 1 cup of the gruel it would still be at least 1/2 cup of the dry slippery elm?
