Re: What doctor to see?

I started a diet about 8 months ago and followed it for about 5. Once I started getting the BO is when I changed my diet trying to figure out if it was the foods I ate that were causing it. The diet was mostly meat, vegetables, and some fruit. From the posts in this forum, it sound like meat increases BO so now I'm trying to reduce meat consumption.

One internist asked if the BO wasn't possibly in my mind. I should go see him after work and see if he says the same thing. He didn't run any tests on me. This time I'm insisting on thyroid, liver, kidney, hormone and maybe other blood work. If they all come back negative, then it's go to a gasteroenterologist. My biggest questions are what triggered the BO? What did I do to cause this? If it's TMAU, then what triggered it?

Began taking the chlorophyll liquid and charcoal capsules. The chlorophyll seems to help but have to be careful with the charcoal as it tends to make me nauseous if I take too many.

Now I'm wondering if I should stop the chlorophyll and charcoal before I go to the doctor and he runs tests.
