Re: enzymes

Of course the digestive enzymes I mentioned before are a bit of a different matter than how to be sure to have adeguate enzymes for our bodies systems proper functioning.

Trying a supplement of digestive enzymes while eating can certainly aid carb digestion and thus cut down on gas.

But do think about what u are eating and how it is designed to be digested in the first place. The Science of food combining is often beneficial for those with subpar constitutions. For instance as u mentioned the porridge meal, when we eat grains with liguids we hinder their breakdown which is designed to start in the mouth and then next the stomach. Thus inadvertantly we cause their breakdown to be in the GI tract where they become gas. So try adding the possible missing digestive elements to see if u get a noticable beneficial reaction.

To have a bacterially healthy small intestinal tract feeds into this topic also. Which once injured is harder to regain than commonly thought, but of supreme importance to reaquire. Raw dairy as a good intestinal bacteria building food choice.

The best way to ensure basic whole body system enzymatic action is to eat a diet containing raw unprocessed fruits, predigested/fermented foods and understanding that heat destroys enzymes.

The website

has some interesting info not commonly found on these topics also.
