My weight went up to 209 in 1980 [from about 176] from drinking gallons of soda pop or anything I could get my hands on when my then psych MDs forgot to lower my initial Lithium dose, and I got Lithium toxicity and had EXTREME unquenchable thirst. WTG MDs! Another case of "woops, almost lost another patient". I was only on Lithium for a short while - just long enough to let them make me sick from it.
