Hi Marci, I was diagnosed from symptoms and tests, doctors are good at diagnosing, but I did not take the artificial hormones that the doctor prescribed, but went for natural supplements instead.

I started with Maca, and then jiaogulan, both helped greatly, then added vitex after about a year. When I added the vitex, along with the other supplements, I saw a great improvement.

There is no problem at all using all herbs at the same time, which I have done for some time now.

The nettle tea is also excellent for general well being.

I usually up the dose with jiaogulan in the winter, as it is very helpful with any colds or flu, particularly if you are prone to respiratory problems.
