Conversion Help??

I can get Lugols in powdered form, analar quality, from a reliable source. His information says "30g Lugol's Iodine in one litre of de Ionized Water gives you a 1% Iodine solution or a 3% I2/KI solution."

The small bottles of Lugol's we buy are 2.something percent ioDINE, right? I don't want to OD and was hoping someone here could tell me how to properly mix this.
