Some of the forms, if they are parasites, have what looks like a sheath, an outer clear membrane, surrounding the worm. I searched for 'sheathed intestinal parasites' and came up with this website.

Hulda Clark found Acanthocephala in several of her patients. They are related to free living rotofers in water. I did not see the spicules but they could have been retracted inside the organism.
Since some of what I saw looked redish brown colored it may be advisable to have a stool blood test done.
