There are so many people and animals, poisoned everyday, with the pollution from coal fired power stations, it has to stop.

It is encouraging that there is a movement towards alternatives, but I wish it would happen faster, before more of our planet is destroyed by this dirtiest, and most inefficient of power sources.

You have seen first hand the damage that burning coal can do, and all the related problems, and that's only the problems that are immediate, that we can see.

What we don't see is the pollution of our air, land and water, with mercury, only one of the problems with burning coal, there are more, that are not apparent yet, but like the health problems suffered by those that work and live in the areas where coal is mined and burned, the future health destruction, of their children and grandchildren, is yet to be seen.
