I was impressed by that as well Tiki, the non-violence, and the way people cleaned up, and repaved the roads and square, after the protests.
There were, of course, government agents, that tried to stir trouble and violence, but they seemed to be rooted out pretty quickly, when the protesters started vetting people, all voluntarily as well.
Libya has a much more hard line dictatorship, so I don't see the police and military, taking it easy on the protesters.
