Re: Gluten(allergy) and liver flush?
I am also gluten-intolerant. While I do believe that reactions to gluten can diminish with flushing (it also diminishes after an extended time on a gluten-free diet) I do not believe that it is the 'cure'. I have read that mercury toxicity can adversely affect the production of the enzyme the body produces to break down gluten and casein. And I do believe that heavy metal toxicities may be playing a role in the seemingly high increase in celiac disease. And from this vantage point, it is possible that healing the liver will greatly contribute to dumping the toxins that may be affecting some people's gluten digestion.
But, it is just as likely that gluten simply is not tolerated by some people despite its positive effect on others, much like extended sun exposure for someone very fair complexioned isn't as positive as it is for someone very dark complexioned(think vitamin D production).
I do hope that my internal cleansing in conjunction with my cleaner diet will cause me to overcome my gluten-intolerance, but my primary goal for now is to avoid consumption of gluten in all of its forms. And to be honest, I believe my health has benefitted from the GF diet immensely. Not just because of the absense of gluten, but also because of the reduction in consumption of simple
Sugar pastries and sweets that tend to rob the body of nutrients. Being thoughtful about my gluten consumption has made me more conscious of everything that I put into my body, and that has definitely helped.
