Oh wanted to add have had zero hunger since day two or so.
Had zero physical hunger.Am bad food addict and have mental hunger? but fought it off. Fact after awhile could even sit with kids and watch them eat supper, and was going over recipes online and in cookbooks planning things for post fast.
I did a tiny bit of "tasting" on the fast. meaning you have a bite of something,usually spitting it out but occasionally ate couple of meatballs with some sauce about day 25 or so. Stress couple not a plate full but literally two meatballs. I didn't brush my tongue off much and maybe that helped as it made anything I did taste horrible tasting pretty much so was less inclined to break the fast.
I just brushed it yesterday and again tasted a few things and they tasted much more normal in fact pretty good!
So the other big secret to fasting long period is to get thru the first couple days of hunger then it all goes away and gets so much easier. I have still no hunger returned as have lots of bodfat still around 35% it looks like from scale . So true hunger may not return for months. some of the fasting gurus say to always fast to true hunger but not too practical if it takes months and months.
A thin person can hit true hunger pretty sure much sooner. they do'nt have the reserve to burn for energy and will start into true starvation burning muscles then finally vital organs last. Still not much permanent harm seems to be done with even thin people going a bit too far but wouldn't be doing that all the time.
