Ok today is the day!!
Day 40 last day of water and juice fast. Did 31 days straight on water, then 3 days on juice, 2 days water and last 4 on juice.
Weight starting was 258.8 and today is 217.2 Tommmorrows weight is actually ending weigh pre refeed. So maybe hit 216 tommorrow?
Will be doing my treadmill today and not drinking much juice maybe 24
oz total.
Refeed will begin tommorrow and will post refeed menus think and some weigh ins , think people are interested in seeing those. Would expect some bounce back in weight from refeed salt and carbs both make you hold water but maybe since keeping up the aerobics thru the fast and starting up weights next week 3x week can keep the weight going down pretty quickly. I intend to use a basically eat when hungry style of eating with formal eat stop eat implemented to make sure don't go crazy. Eat stop eat is two 24 hour fasting periods weekly to lose weight. Should be very easy to do for someone that has just lasted 40 days on fast. Whats missing a couple of meals.

If it don't work fast enough for me after month or so will do another fast think 20 days total ,do this one bit smarter did the first one cold turkey no prefast at all.
This one would do juice 3 days then water for 14 then juice last three 20 total. Repeat this mabye two cycles with month in between of eat stop eat..intermittent fasting.And keep up the exercise.
goal is to be under 180 for sure and maybe even around 160/150 not sure yet everything depends on bodyfat and how feel and look. For someone that has been 260 for a long time at 50% BF it would just be nice to be under 20% BF and in the normal range for males my age.
Wife just went off her 28 day fast on juice couple days ago.She hasn't weighed self for awhile. So not sure exact fasting ending weight. She has since had three salads and one stirfry on refeed. She went right to salads and think bit of fruit mabye ,mixed melon plate I think honeydew,cantelope and water melon. She has had no refeed problems. She also started drinking strong coffee three cups a day. If you need a laxative just drink that!
Again no seeming problems with her stomach. That was her very first fast and pretty proud of her. 28 days is awesome.She is think down around 20 to 25
pounds from starting weight. Will try to get her to weigh maybe today. It might be her time of month shortly and of course that throws things off big time with womens weights.
She is 5ft 6 and me as well. She was 199 starting and think should be around 180 or so now.
I told her to start up her aerobics she hasn't done them for months and maybe lift weights with me but not sure she is going to listen. As for eating think she is going to try eating when hungry and EAT STOP EAT as well.

And as for tips here are couple, juice fasting is much easier to do first time and for longer periods of time. 20,30, even longer is pretty easy on juice fasting.Your energy will stay high basically normal and you won't be hungry at all after first two or three days. and you can get variety drinking all the different kinds of juice ,juice your own if you like,etc.
Water is harder by far.Energy is usually low for first week or so then improves but usually you are still not as strong as when on juice or eating.
I found I was getting dizzy a lot on water and fainting feelings when walking around. There were some reasons it was maybe worse with me and can get into them but already did on my early posts ..
When I switched to juice energy jumped way up and these dizzyness problems were much better. Still think my blood pressure was very low during my fast for various reasons and next time do one might pick up blood pressure monitor just to keep a better watch on things.
Also as said not planning to have to do a 40 day again think 20 total with water and juice is plenty and even prefer two of those if have to get down to goal weight then another brutally long one and 40 days did seem brutally long. 21 or so went ok but then started to drag on, 30 seemed to take forever and 40 even more so.
And I did try to keep busy, don't have to work much though basically retired. I wouldn't want to try hard work or going out much on water only.Juice sure,water no.
Wife had pretty easy time on her juice fast but did pass out once when she wasn't drinking any water or juice trying to lose weight as fast as me on water. You do lose about 1/2 as fast on juice as water. Water is the quickest way to lose weight fast but as said harder too.
