The problem with high-sugar, low-fibre drinks is that they play hell with the body's blood-sugar levels, and are one major cause of diabetes (putting big strain on the body by necessitating very quick insulin release). In reasonable amounts, this isn't a problem. Taken regularly, can lead to health problems. Many fruit drinks have MORE Sugar than a can of coca-cola... Sunripe Rio Red Grapefruit Juice (my absolute favourite!) comes to mind.
