Knowing how to and when to prepare is important and with your Dad experiencing cyclones before, and being a very level headed person, he will be ready. It will be good for you to hear from him everyday.

Hopefully wireless broadband will enable him to communicate to his loved ones when the phone lines go down. Emergency contact bases that is set up when there is disasters will be great for you to be able to get information.
