Advice for newbie first time faster 30 days


Hello,
After visiting the doctor on friday, I realised I had to lose weight as my health is getting affected. I am 5ft 1 current weight is 160lbs. I want to start off losing 30lbs as that would put me in the healthy category but my ultimate weight loss is about 50 lbs. After some research, fasting seemed like the best option due to its quick results (i have failed so many diets). I am nearly at the end of day 1. I have had 2 coffee with milk and sweetener, water, and fruit teas with sweetener. Day 1 has been easy peasy, so I think I can deffo make 10 days, and then hopefully that will give me the confidence to make 15, then 20 and eventually 30. I want to do this for 30 days and I mean it. so, in order to stay happy and healthy on this fast- any advice? like do I need to take any multivitamins/ electrolyte imbalance etc etc? I do not really understand all of that. I hadnt planned on taking anything as I am generally healthy other than the fatness.

Also, does exercise significantly speed up the fat loss process? I walk about 30 mins to and back from work 3 times a week, and that is all the exercise I do, but I am happy to do exercise, the gym is literally downstairs, but I am scared of fainting if I go to the gym.
