Girl on weight loss fasting lost 90 pounds on juice fasting and kept it off for like 5years. read about how she did it. she gained it back finally but had baby,had some personal problems and turned back to food .

first that starvation response stuff is pretty overrated. and you can usually expect pretty much instant regain from salt and carbs upon refeeding. so 5 to 10 pounds wasn't fat loss it was water weight ,bit of muscle is loss on fast two but it slows way down on longer fasts and doest happy much at all on really short ones. and if you can do weights when doing fast it can help but hard to do weights on Water Fasts especially long ones.

so what to do. first you have to make sure you start up and keep up exercise.I would suggest 5x week aerobics and 3 to 4x week weights. 3 day full body, 4 day split your choice.

of course you can't just do nothing like before and start eating like a horse all the time.

you might want to try something like an intermittent fasting variation.I am going to shortly be trying eat stop eat. see website. sounds very doable.

So if you do the above you should be able to keep it off. As said girl did if for like 5years. and have talked to other people that have done it.

Also what I am doing on my fast is reading and filing away tons of low calorie but yummy looking recipes. other tricks drink pretty much mostly always water only or diet drinks..you maybe not trust diet drinks so guess water if you dont'. don't drink much juices even milk can add up in calories its wasy to drink tons of calories in liquid form be it tim hortons vanilla whatever but think you get the point. Lots of other tips buying light low calorie versions of things .some do seem to have great luck with raw for losing and keeping weight off. I might be able to do 80/20 raw for awhile.

Some seem to do ok as vegetarians my two or three vegetarian cousins are pretty thin.
I perfer to eat normal but try the intermittent fasting. I will post updates mostly in the weight loss fasting forum after my 40 days ends and refeed and they do my best to keep off the weight and lose more.I figure if can't see steady loss on the intermittent and exercise and try to eat at home or at least out where know the calories can go back to shorter fasts like 7 or 14 or even 21 days to whittle it down and maybe do one of those yearly. I have not much interest in ever doing another 30 or 40 day water.It is not that hard but its sure boring!
