Does this posters(url below) pain sound like your wifes?
I would take 1 level tablespoon of Epsom Salt in a 8ounce glass of luke-warm water,
or in apple-juice.
Its possible that your wife did release stones,and are trapped in the bowel.
In any case,Epsom-salt will relax the bowels,so you cannot make it worse.
I hope somebody else comes by with further advise
