Re: The Candida Diet

Eric,
Your post is good and that could be an ideal anti-candida diet. However, I want to share my opinion about some things. To follow that can of diet, you must eat a big amount of fat every day, almond butter, olive oil, coconot oil, etc. We can not forget our cells need Sugar to function and a perfect anticandida diet isn't healthy at all. The anticandida diet is a phase diet an must be adjusted time to time. Honestly, I haven't seen any anticandida diet with be 0 carbohydrates. I own 16 books about this syndrome and all of them bring diets. Some of them include yogurt, brown rice, beans, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, yucca root, malanga root, quinoa, millet, buckwheat, and even white rice. It is well known candida will feed with any food source and with the blood sugar. Fungus produce more toxic by-products when they feed with proteins only and there are studies showing candida albicans growing factor feeding on Stevia. So, as you see, our enemy will get food from any source. The anticandida diet should eliminate the prefered candida food source and give you a right nutrition to keep the immune system active. Another thing is there aren't available testimonies of people following the ultime sacrifice with a diet who be totally cured. If it was in this way, we all here known the secret to cure it. I know some forum members who have followed a severe diet for long time plus an state of the art antifungal combination who are still sick. Again, your post is good and that could be an excellent diet if we can follow it. Most people can not because they get hypoglicemia and deteriorate quickly. The diet is important but I believe a 0 carbohydrate diet will cause mora damage than good. At least, it is my experience and opinion until someone demostrates the opposite. I would like to have real testimonies about people cured following a severe diet to follow it myself.
Moreover, I would like to know for how long do you expect to be on that diet ??
Can you keep your body weight and energy without adding fat sources ??

Jorge.
