Re: belching, fermentation and candida/leaky gut

Hey boy! Keep strong because you will get the line. It is possible you have a severe overgrowth in the small bowel. Who knows it ?? But, you have to be open to other things too. Bacterial overgrowth creates a lot of fermentation in the small bowel and is very possible too. You can try some natural bactericidals such as GSE, Viracin, Golden Seal, etc. If you get benefit after 21 days, it is probably bacterias. Some people have taken Nystatin, Fluconazole, etc , and claim the Rx did nothing for them, but when, they take GSE, or any other natural antifungal that are also bactericidals, they get better soon. So, they claim natural antifungals are better than the Rx but they ignore those naturals are killing bacterial overgrowth in the small bowel. I think people who get better results using natural antifungals than Rx antifungals have a case linked to bacterial overgrowth. SIBO can produce almost the same candida symptoms including villi damage, bloating, belching, flatulence, headaches, chronic fatigue, diarrhea, etc. My advice is to be open to research other possible causes taking care of candida at the same time. I truly believe in this syndrome, but I have learned the gut is more complex that what we think and candida isn't the only player.
Jorge.
