Re: Vegetable oil rub into skin................

I think the coconut oil is really superior to the other oils. I mentioned the olive oil and others mainly because of the cost and easy to find locally in most places.

You already see how good oils are to rub on your hands. Around here the humidity is low in the winter time and heated air makes it worse. My skin will start to itch and my lips will chap. The oil rub eliminates both and lasts for a week or so. And I do love the way my skin feels after the rub.

A few years ago, a cyber friend that knew I dealt with natural healing emailed me about her daughter having a bad itching problem with a surgical incision healing site. She asked for a suggestion to stop the itching. I figured the healing site has feverish and dry. I did tell her to rub some olive oil or any vegetable oil on it. She emailed back shortly to say that worked instantly.

As for sesame oil, ayurveda is very high on sesame oil. Deepak Chopra says that with oils on the skin you will absorb far more than you can ingest and the body use it. I figure it is true with any oil. Here is a link to some info about sesame oil and ayurveda:

I agree with your statement about healing from within. I wish I had some knowledge about the red spots, but afraid I know nothing.

Hope this is helpful.
