Re: Any thoughts on Hair Analysis?
Did you do a Doctor's Data hair test?
I am assuming you did and you are reporting that you met one of the counting rules, most nutritive elements being below midline.
I just borrowed my Hair Test book out to a friend so I can't reference it at the moment. What does Andy say in there about the relevance of
Iodine and Boron if your mineral transport is deranged? Some element levels are irrelevant such as mercury if your mineral transport is deranged, I am wondering if it is so for
Iodine and Boron also......
I am a total fan of Andy's work, but there is a better test for
Iodine levels: Iodine loading test
http://www.hakalalabs.com
and if you are going to do that test do the bromide test too, I think it means more than the Iodine part of the test IMHO.
Unless you consume large amounts of seaweed the likelihood of your iodine level being adequate is about zero. Too much bromide, fluoride and chlorides out there.
And Iodine doesn't store long in the body, its half life is about 24-36 hours or something like that, so you need it daily.
