How to test how active my liver is?

Hello all..

I wish this site wasn't so big then i could re-find the information i found on my last login!

I have done a Bowel Cleanse and parasite cleanse and want to do a kidney and liver flush.

Can anyone tell me how i can test how well my liver is currently working? The reason i ask is beacuse i have suffered with Acne for years and since bowel cleansing over the past 3 years it had subsided. Though recently (despite another long Bowel Cleanse topped off with a colonic) im finding my Acne is returning. I thought i had a handle on it through strict dietry changes (im vegan, about 80% raw for past year)

So i'm wondering about the state of my liver. I read on this site about testing with beetroot, but i have forgotten the details and cannot find them again! I have been drinking beetroot juice (freshly juiced at home using raw beetroots) and found that my urine does not turn red. Though my stools are alittle red in colour. What does this indicate?

I will deffinately be doing a flush....i just need some prelim. info. to gauge what is going on with my system.
