Cutting down on carbs might be ok idea. I have to be careful not to go too much protein and too low carbs as have done atkins few times in past. Each time lost pretty good weight for awhile then was hitten with attacks of gout in my toe and once kidney stones.Fortunately they dissolved on their own they were uric acid stones not calcium stones.

Key might be just drinking enough water. I have had other attacks of gout when dont' drink enough water and drink bit more alcohol and eat more protein . Not sure what effect losing bunch of weight is going to have on my gout condition.I should maybe take pills for it but don't like to take pills am stubborn that way.

I think plan is starting to come together. Fast this time around most likely 40 days nice biblical number. and will give me some personal satisfaction from going that long and already at day 20 today so half way there and its been pretty easy so far just boring not eating anything,but does give me lots of free time to do stuff around house and to surf net,etc.

So do 40 days water now, then juice for bit maybe week,then maybe kind of raw or 80/20 raw for a few weeks then go to something like EAT STOP EAt intermittent fasting for another month or so and see how everything goes if the weight stays off and keeps going down at even couple pounds a week that would be ok with me. And do aerobics 5x week and weights 3x or 4x week.

Then if needed or want to again lose much faster do another water of 21,30 or even 40 to really get me down to where think should be. Of course will be checking things like bodyfat to see whats really up. Maybe 180 is good weight for me maybe don't need to go down to 160 or less. Have fair amount of muscle from years of weights on and off.
