Earth polar shift is real science, known for decades.

It last happened 780,000 years ago.
Before then,mit happened very 200,000 years or so.

ITS OVERDUE.

When you compass spins around and North becomes South, then the shift has happened. It means the magnetic flux in the earths core will have particles that "go the other way" - the ones o the northern hemisphere are now going "in", and the souths go "out", but then that will flip.
The records of this happening are preserved in kiln-fired pottery and in molten lava, where the dirction of flux was preserved as they were cooling.

That does not mean an apocolypse.

It only has one problem that we know of, and that is this -
when the magnetic flux weakens, as it does when a shift occurs, the sun's "winds" [charged particles] are not deflected by the earth's magnetic flux anymore.
This is the same problem as ozone depletion - more harmful UV rays and so on. On Mars, it meant the atmosphere was stripped away after a billion years without magnetism.

Mars did have magnetism [as seen on its geological records], and then it was gone. I am not sure why...
