The inability to move represents a feeling of ineptness. He feels weak and unable to do anything about what he thinks is happening.

My advice.
Perhaps he incorrectly fears that you are being unfaithful? Spend more time with your husband. Show him the utmost love you have for him. Go out on dates like you used to when you were younger.

The intruder may instead be in the workplace. He may fear that he is going to lose his job to someone else. Compliment him on all his strengths when the chances arise. Make him realize what a great person he is.
