I could be wrong...but upon much careful examination of these horrible creatures, they are designed to attach themselves on one side, the root structure is always on one side. The soft fuzzy outer part I believe faces towards the inside of the intestinal wall, all the better to gobble and absorb (MY!) nutrients I am guessing. It could be a stage I guess, coming from the liver...whatever they are, I hate them. They are stealing my life...
