We have had highly unusual weather here in Colorado too. Unseasonably warm, like 20-25f degrees above norm right up until Xmas. Then a couple of cold snaps and snow. We get this clash or arctic air, moisture from the Pacific, and moisture pushing up from the Gulf of Mexico...

While this triad of weather influence is typical, it certainly has been not typical weather in recent years. Especially this year. Am waiting for the other shoe to drop and get some weather drama.... as in flooding. While it is not unusual to be subzero and snowstorms one day, then a day or so later be in the 60s and T shirt weather, it feels like we are building up to something crazy.

Hope you get some moisture Spuds in your region. I hope your sis and pa are ok.
