Yes, I agree. I know from my own experience with permaculture groups, that the theory and certain practices, can be very confusing for a lot of people. Permaculture is not a religion, but can seem so, to people that are interested in the concept. The rigidity of some of the practitioners can be very off putting for someone just starting out.
In an ideal world, we would have permaculture as the norm, but we don't live in an ideal world.
I think Ted has some good ideas, but I think the whole concept of permaculture could be expressed in a more practical and realistic manner.
