...I use "the ex" a lot, or his last name, depending on the circumstances.


I've always felt that being decent about it, was the best policy...especially to strangers and new acquaintances.

Old friends, of course, know more than that.

It's worked well since the mid-80's...and not hurt the son, I believe.
