Iodine stopped but what is this yellow ooze?

It's been 3 weeks, 3 days since I stopped taking iodoral. During that time, my breathing normalized which I'm extremely grateful for. But my skin remains a disaster. Crusts, scabs, cracking, dryness, and redness everywhere, especially on my face and neck.
The itchiness cannot be suppressed. I've tried everything, from applying apple cider vinegar directly on my skin to diphenhydramine (antihistamine) at 100 mg. The reason it won't stop is due to this yellow pus that fights to get out of my body. Unconsciously, I scratch deep enough to let the stuff ooze out with some blood.
I can't describe to you how disgusting and uncomfortable this stuff is. Many times, I'll stare and scratch in place for 30 mins to an hour. I thought I'd return to a pre-iodine state by now.
On New Year's Eve, I managed to focus and buy the supplements* I promised to get in my last post. They arrive tomorrow. I still salt load to the extent of not becoming swollen and bloated, as well as take vitamin C at 6 grams across the day and some magnesium oxide (at 800 mg) that I found lying around.
What could this yellow pus be? From reading the forum, it sounds like candida as a result of all the mercury that's been released into the blood by the iodine. It's the worst when waking up in the morning. It's like the toxin accumulates overnight and since the body can't cope with it, pushes it out through the skin.
My diet has been constant and was never a problem before the iodine. A lot of bananas and other fruits throughout the day, and dinner is either more fruits, Chinese rice and meat, or Vietnamese rice noodles and meat. Since the detox symptoms arose, I haven't been eating many vegetables though.
I didn't want to post this until I started the supplements. But I don't know what I'll do to myself if it doesn't stop right away. My face is a red, sticky mess and I can only go out at night to get food. Tell me it's candida! Tell me the selenium will destroy the candida! The copper will help out too! Just say something, anything. Thanks for reading. <:(
