Cayenne in Foods / Insomnia From Too Much Cayenne?

I'm adding cayenne to my meals, up to 1/8 a tsp, in addition to the heaping 1/4 tsp I take 3 times a day, and it's speeding up foods in my GI tract and I've been sleeping poorly, at least last night I did. It's probably due to low magnesium. I've been low on Mg for many years even though I take 800 mg of it daily. I was also adding a capsule of Licorice Root with my morning cayenne and drinking some organic Prune Juice, which may have added to the fast bowel effect.

Should I keep adding Cayenne to meals or just take it between meals? With what I add to food, I was getting close to 1 tsp a day in all, and I've only been on it for 1.5 weeks.

Would Epsom Salt bath be a good idea, in fluoridated water?

I don't think I should add any other herbs to my cayenne at this time, in order to prevent foods from moving too quickly in my GI tract.
