It's technical, but it makes sense once you get your brain around it. Has to do with sodium/potassium balances in the cells and dehydration...

It's like anything else with AF: one thing is lacking, something else overcompensates, forcing something else to lack and something else to overcompensate and next thing you know your body is malfunctioning.
