Re: "When science cannot be questioned..."
well said.
let me point out a few more things.
the certain person who is so gung ho on his
Science and herbs fails to realize the very history of herbology, which was completely based upon observational evidence. early herbology is also closer to metaphysics than it is to
Science or even physics. it wasn't until recently that
Science has verified what was already known to ancient herbalists. and this process continues. why? because science still has not caught up to knowledge thousands of years old.
in fact, science always comes late to the game to describe natural phenomena... phenomena that ALREADY exists in nature.
apples were dropping from trees long before isaac newton came along to mathematically describe these actions.
pure science is very rare in this day and age...science that is not self-absorbed and corrupt. which brings me to my next point and the very reason curezone was created.
'educating instead of medicating'
curezone was a direct response to the failure of modern medicine to actually help people. the same modern medicine which is science based and yet kills and poisons a staggering number of people every year. i for one wouldn't be hanging my hat on this type of science and expect to be lauded.
money may not be the root of all evil, but it certainly travels in the same circles and when mixed with medicine it is indeed an evil. this is why i brought up my point about financial objectives rather than humanitarian objectives. i stand by that point and i think it is relevant.
want to prove me wrong?
then become a humanitarian and stop pursuing medicine as business. dole out your services free of charge and that will carry some weight.
the reason
Liver Flushes are so threatening to these types is precisely because you can't patent olive oil and grapefruit juice. but you can patent arcane herbal formulas (i suppose).
it is a very rare bird in the alternative medical community who truly practices to help people. there is almost always a financial motive. and that motive is intimately tied to the notion that said practitioner has the latest and greatest information, herb, potion, philosophy. and this is what they leverage in order to charge money. it is plain and simple and obvious to anyone who been around the block.
pointing this out is a threat only to someone who wishes to disguise this fact.
