Re: Finished a 10-day Urine Fast...doing another soon
Hi Two-dogs,
I'm sorry for the overdue reply but your message was never sent to my primary inbox. I hope things are better for you nowadays. I have suffered from crippling stomach pains since I was a child, but never diagnosed with any specific disease. They all thought I was just crazy...really. But anyhoo, over the past few years I have been able to overcome probably 95% of my ailments through natural modalities. For the first time in my life (28 years), I feel like I have total control over my health and overall well-being! By avoiding conventional wisdom I changed my life, and I think we ALL can.
Fasting has been a lifesaver for me...but it's in combination with the right diet, exercise, and knowing how to de-stress that will catapult your health to it's absolute best. Remember: Food can either be your medicine or your disease...and fasting can get you on the 'fast' track in the right direction.
It definitely takes more than one fast to see a dramatic, sustained difference in your health. I've done a handful in the past two years, and it's a cumulative effect. Nowadays I only fast for a day every week, and implement daily fasts of intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is the KEY to maintaining top notch health, I believe. You should skip a meal every day, and once your body adjusts you will feel a new high. Fast once a week for a whole day to enhance the effects on a weekly basis. This is my advice from personal experience and from tons and tons of research.
If you have any more questions feel free to reply back. This time around I will check my curezone account at least a few times a week :)
PS: I am actually going for another long fast (13 days) on urine. I am hoping to get that 5% taken care of...so we'll see.
Take care
