scarey nightmare

Hi everyone im new to this forum but not this website im woundering if someone can help with the meaning of my nightmare.Last nighti hada dream that my 8 yearold only child was kidnap by a stranger i woke up sweating and making sure my child was in the house and that he was ok.I no alot of people with kids will havehad this dream probley sometime in there life but the funny thing is when i told mymum about it she said she had the same dream last week she diden tell me cause she knows i worry.I find it very freaky that both of us had this dream so i hope threres a meaning for it.
